경기도, 병영문화 바꾼다

경기도가 국군 장병들의 문화저변 확대와 활기찬 병영 문화를 만들기 위해 나선다.

도는 오는 31일 제8기계화보병사단을 시작으로 연말까지 총 8회에 걸쳐 ‘민관군 한마음 위문공연’을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

민관군 한마음 위문공연은 CBS 공개방송과 연계해 진행되며, 국토방위와 대민봉사에 헌신하는 도내 육해공군 부대 장병들을 격려하고 군과 지역사회의 협력과 유대를 강화하기 위해 실시한다.

올해에는 20대 청춘장병들의 눈높이에 맞는 인기 걸그룹은 물론, 지역 주민들이 함께 즐길 수 있는 인기 가수들을 초청해 무대를 꾸밀 예정이다.

아울러 지역예술단체 공연, 지역축제와의 연계 등 지역문화 예술을 활성화하고 장병들과 주민이 함께 어우러질 수 있는 다양한 프로그램을 마련했다.

최봉순 도 균형발전기획실장은 “올해 한마음 축제는 군과 지역 주민이 함께하는 한마당 축제의 장이 될 것으로 기대한다.”며, “앞으로도 장병을 위한 다양한 프로그램을 마련해 지속적으로 지원해 나갈 예정”이라고 밝혔다.

한편, 도는 군 장병의 문화 갈증을 해소하고 대민활동에 기여한 군 장병들을 격려하기 위해 2002년부터 지난해까지 총 87회 한마음 위문공연을 실시했다.
